MAC or Lily Lolo?

Ackk this’ll be a long one lol

I have oily/combination, Indian, teenage skin with large pores, weird coloring, the whole shebang (yay for me, eh?) and practically every foundation I%26#039;ve used melts off my face before the end of the day.

I%26#039;ve looked at the MAC and Lily Lolo websites and the foundations do sound really good.

The MAC people in a nearby town are really friendly, so I%26#039;d have no trouble asking for colour matches there. But I%26#039;ve read on here that sme people have experienced flakiness and cakiness...?

The Lily Lolo range is available from their website but no-ones really heard of them. From a few reviews I%26#039;ve found, their mineral based foundation gives a flawless look. You can also order little mini samples for a quid off their website, so you don%26#039;t waste money on a product that%26#039;s too light/dark.

If anyone%26#039;s had any experience with either of these, I%26#039;d be grateful for some feedback =] Actually if anybody could recommend me some foundation thats worked for them, let me know.

PS do you think full foundation, concealer, powder and the like is too heavy for a 15 year old? Even if it’s applied light?

Thanks ^_^

MAC or Lily Lolo?
I would go with MAC simply because they have people there that can help you find the right foundation for you. They also have several types and colors for you to choose from.
Reply:i have combination skin as well. i am really happy with a product from MAC called Studio Fix. Its like a powder compact. It offers great coverage and stays on all day. What I do is first use a brush to apply the powder to your face. Then I use the sponge that comes in the compact. I dab it on the powder (just so very little gets on the sponge) and then I smooth it over my face. I really like the results I get from it.
Reply:I%26#039;ve actually gotten my MAKE UP done at MAC a couple times and to be HONEST I take my own POWDER for that reason their POWDER is indeed %26quot;cakie%26quot; I love MAC but the POWDER is not something I would recommend

P.s Lancom dual finish is AMAZING a little more expensive but it%26#039;s AMAZING and last awhile

Reply:I just ordered some Lily Lolo samples and get them 2 days later. I usually have to get the lightest shade in any range but I actually found I didnt need it as they%26#039;re pinky one %26quot;Candy Cane%26quot; is perfect. It lasts quite a while and I%26#039;ve heard from people saying that its%26#039; good on greasy skin too. I say order yourself some samples and have a play.
