All My Children - Lily/Ava and Johnathan. Does anyone thinks it's weird that Johnathan is with Ava?
I mean, I get it and all, she looks just like Lily, but in what world (even soap world) would this actually work? I mean geesh, it was so obvious yesterday. I couldn%26#039;t really identify with Ava really until just yesterday. I have to admit, she%26#039;s a pretty good actress, especially for 17. Which is even weirder. Why did they pair 30 something year old Johnathan opposite a 17 year old (Levin Rambin) or whatever her name is?

I think Jonathan truly loves/loved Lily and initially fell for Ava because of her looks. I think they%26#039;re good for each other. Even though Ava is young, she%26#039;s %26quot;street smart%26quot; and more mature for her age.

Ava is mature beyond her young years and I really think that maturity plays almost as big of a role as age does (as long as they are at 18) it really depends on the couple. I am still hoping for a Lily/Jonathon reunion. They still love each other and Jonathon gets Lily and is so tender with her. But it would be Ava that would have to get them together because Lily would never go for it if she thinks it will hurt her sister in anyway.

I have oily/combination, Indian, teenage skin with large pores, weird coloring, the whole shebang (yay for me, eh?) and practically every foundation I%26#039;ve used melts off my face before the end of the day.
I%26#039;ve looked at the MAC and Lily Lolo websites and the foundations do sound really good.
The MAC people in a nearby town are really friendly, so I%26#039;d have no trouble asking for colour matches there. But I%26#039;ve read on here that sme people have experienced flakiness and cakiness...?
The Lily Lolo range is available from their website but no-ones really heard of them. From a few reviews I%26#039;ve found, their mineral based foundation gives a flawless look. You can also order little mini samples for a quid off their website, so you don%26#039;t waste money on a product that%26#039;s too light/dark.
If anyone%26#039;s had any experience with either of these, I%26#039;d be grateful for some feedback =] Actually if anybody could recommend me some foundation thats worked for them, let me know.
PS do you think full foundation, concealer, powder and the like is too heavy for a 15 year old? Even if it’s applied light?

What I do is first use a brush to apply the powder to your face. Then I use the sponge that comes in the compact. I dab it on the powder (just so very little gets on the sponge) and then I smooth it over my face. I really like the results I get from it.

I have a question on the plant tiger lily?
We bought a house last summer and we are trying to do different things with the yard this year. The people who had this house before us must have really liked tiger lily%26#039;s because there are patches everywhere. They spread so fast and the roots are so long we can%26#039;t get them all out of the ground. There are hundreds of these plants so we are wondering the best way to kill them and make sure they don%26#039;t come back. If we have to dig them all up it could take many days and they grow back so fast I don%26#039;t know if we could do it fast enough. Any Suggestions would be great. I also have 2 small children so I don%26#039;t want anything that could harm them. Thank you in advance

You may have to make several applications but it%26#039;s worth it in the end. Keep the kids off the area you sprayed, their little footprints will be in the lawn if they get it on their feet.

Lily Bug problem..anyone know of a good, preferably non chemical,killer/deterrent for these critters?
we made the mistake of buying in some lily%26#039;s from a dodgy source and have ended up being invaded every year!

Try mixing one tablespoon of cyanne pepper in a spray bottle with 16 oz. of water and shake well. Spray the plants with this and most pests will leave and dogs will not pee on them either. It is safe and needs to be done after a good rain.
Reply:Rhubarb leavws are highly toxic. We use the leaves cooked with water, left to cool and then sprayed on bugs of all kinds. It is a very good killer but quite harmless to the plants.
Reply:You can either remove the bright red adults from the plant and squash them or get a nematode from Defenders at Wye which will do the trick.
Reply:They only way thats worked for me is to hand pick off the red adults and drop them in a jam jar with water in it. Endless task but i%26#039;ve tried various sprays without success.
